One comes to mind in Lawrence MA, a museum that was converted from the old textile weaving mill site. We visited this historic building on a recent Road Scholar trip, to Boston and southwest NH. It's an austere facility, complete with machinery, the rooms that housed the young women who worked so hard, for such long hours. We were glad it is being used as a museum.
