Silhouette of England is not well-known here in the US. However, they are no strangers to the intimate apparel business, having been established in 1877. Back then they were strictly corset makers. Today they have a complete line of bras and shapewear. Their best known product here in the states was their “Little X” line of girdles, dating to the late 1960’s and sold in over 60 countries. They still make this style of girdle today, along with an assortment of corselettes, open corselettes (including the Madame X Corselette shown here), soft cup bras, underwire bras and basques.
